HOW TO FIND US

By car, bus, bike or taxi:

Option 1: Follow the main road from Bled towards Bohinj, through the villages of Bohinjska Bistrica and Ribčev Laz towards Ukanc. The traffic signs at the crossroads in Ukanc indicate the Žičnice Vogel lower station.

Option 2: Across the Pokljuka plateau – Turn in the direction of the village of Spodne Gorje in Bled, and drive down the main road until the junction for Bohinj. Follow the road through the villages of Koprivnik, Gorjuše and Jereka, through the upper Bohinj valley to the village of Ribčev Laz, and turn right in the direction of Ukanc. The traffic signs at the crossroads in Ukanc indicate the Žičnice Vogel lower station.

Option 3: Take the road from the settlement of Podbrdo across the Soriška planina (mountain pasture) to the village of Bohinjska Bistrica. From there, follow the main road through the lower Bohinj valley to Ukanc. The traffic signs at the crossroads in Ukanc indicate the Žičnice Vogel lower station.

By train or car train:

The train from Jesenice passes via Bled Lake station to the village of Bohinjska Bistrica.
From Podbrdo you can either take a train or the car train which goes through the Bohinj tunnel to the village of Bohinjska Bistrica.

There you can take another means of transport following the main road though the lower Bohinj valley straight to Ukanc. The traffic signs at the crossroads in Ukanc indicate the Žičnice Vogel lower station.

By Ski bus

Free ski bus is available for guests of "Ski bus Bohinj project" participants. Ski bus Bohinj takes you right to the lower Vogel cable car station. Act green by using public transport.
