Ski rules at Vogel

General

  • Passes are available at the lower or upper cable car station cash desk at a valid price. You can pay with a debit card (BA Maestro, Karanta) or a credit card (American Expres, Visa, Eurocard).
  • Computer system is used for selling and controlling the passes. Still the visitors are obligated to show a pass when asked to do so by authorized personnel.
  • No money back or pass validity prolonged in case of weather worsening, fog, wind, slope closing, devices disconnection or standstill.
  • Make sure to get all the necessary information about the slope’s weather and working conditions before purchasing a pass. Information is available at the lower cable car station.
  • Advertising on all objects and devices is a matter of agreement with Žičnice Vogel. Self-willed advertising is not allowed. All advertising material removal is charged.
  • In case of any complaints please contact the Information Office (ticket office) or the ski patrol (during the ski season).
  • All forms of entertainment on Vogel ski slopes and on objects property of Žičnice Vogel are a matter of agreement with the company management.

Season and operating times

  • Vogel cable car operates throughout the year, except when refitting (usually in May).
  • Winter season lasts from December (when sufficient snow cover) to Easter. Cable car operates from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., every 30 minutes.
  • Skiing devices operate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • In summer time cable car operates from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., every 30 minutes.
  • In the summer season Orlove glave chair lift operates from 8 a.m. to 16.00 p.m.
  • Žičnice Vogel reserve all rights to change the hours of operation in months between the summer and the winter season.

Returning purchase money

  • Purchased pass is not returnable. You do not get your money back.
  • Our company does not recognize any substitute for a lost pass.
  • In case of a skier’s injury, the purchase money is returned only to an injured person with a terminska pass on the basis of rescue service medical certificate.
  • Money is returned from the next day of the accident on. An illness is not regarded as a reason for returning purchase money
  • In case of a season pass owner’s injury before 15 February, we recognize 50% off when buying a new season ticket for the next season.

Inproper pass use

  • Passes are not transferable, except the transferable season and transferable yearly pass.
  • Purchased pass validity cannot be changed.
  • Attempt to use the pass in an improper way, improper pass use and violating safety rules require an immediate pass dispossession by an authorized company official.
  • Our company reserves all rights of reporting improper pass use and violating safety rules to the proper authorities.
  • All costs of the accident caused by the person using the pass improperly are covered by this very person.

Pass purchase and pass validiti

  • Children from age 6 to 14 are entitled of purchasing a Children Pass.
  • Pensioners with a certificate proving their status are entitled to 15% off when purchasing a daily or half-daily pass.
  • Students and high school students with a certificate proving their status are entitled to 15% off when purchasing a daily or half-daily pass.
  • Special discounts are recognized to groups over 10 people.
  • Damaged pass or a lost season pass are charged the costs of exchanging.
  • Chip pass is only valid together with an identification card.
  • A written confirmation is required when substituting a pass.
  • Family ski pass is sold at a discount (20% off) price, which is stated in the family pass pricelist. Family with at least 3 members, among them 2 adults, is entitled to a family pass.
  • Photos are requested on yearly, seasonal, 5/season and 10/season tickets

Damaging the ski slope and the railway devices

  • In case of damage done to the cable railway devices or any other device on the slope, the agent or his/her guardian is obliged to pay for the damage. Our company reserves all rights to launch a criminal procedure for damaging private property or endangering the safety of transportations.
  • Our company reserves all rights to refuse the access to ski lopes to individuals or groups because of their previous behaviour and safety violations. People under the influence of alcohol or drugs and people with unacceptable behaviour are also not allowed to access cable railways and ski slopes. Our company is not responsible for them and their behaviour.
  • When on cable railway devices, follow the written instructions and instructions given by the cable railway personnel.

Transporting luggage,cargo and pets

  • Personal luggage transportation up to 15 kg is free of charge (suitcases, travelling bags, backpacks, ski, snowboards…).
  • Cable car cargo transportation over 15 kg is charged at price stated in the valid pricelist.
  • Cable car parachute transportation is charged.
  • Cable car dog transportation is charged at price stated in the valid pricelist. Dogs need to be properly secure.
  • Material transport is performed with a cargo lift and charged at price stated in the valid pricelist. Technical manager or information office at the lower cable car station needs to be notified about the transportation in advance.
  • Our company does not accept responsibility in case of belated delivery and transportation of improperly protected cargo (damage, freezing). All cargo needs to be properly protected and prepared for transportation in cargo lift or accompanied by the owner or his representative.

Insurance and responsibility

  • Skiing safely is a responsibility of each individual. Following written instructions and instructions given by the cable railway personnel is a step in that direction.
  • Leader of a group has full responsibility for his group members and their safe skiing.
  • Further skiing is not allowed to groups not minding any warnings and endangering themselves and others.
  • With purchasing a pass the pass owner is insured for physical injuries and injuries caused to his/her equipment or cargo by the cable railway worker at all cable railway devices.
  • Our company takes no responsibility for physical injuries and injuries caused to equipment or cargo if the injuries are a consequence of not following the listed: conditions on marked ski slopes, number of visitors, weather, snow quality, unreasonable driving, not considering FIS rules, marks and instructions by cable railway workers, insufficient physical abilities, lack of sports equipment, skiing under the influence of alcohol and drugs,…
  • Complaints, physical injuries reports and damaged equipment/cargo reports can be registered at the information office at the lower cable car station or by the contact the information office at the lower cable car station or the ski patrol (during the ski season).
  • You are entitled to a possible compensation if a valid pass and a rescue service record about the accident are submitted
  • Our company reserves all rights to launch a criminal procedure or minor offence procedure in case of causing an accident on the ski slope.
Parking and using parking spaces
  • Parking and using parking spaces next to the lower cable car station is free of charge. Drivers are obligated to follow the traffic signs and instructions given by traffic wardens.
  • Vehicles on or next to back roads must be parked in a way considering normal traffic (buses, snow tractor, other kinds of vehicles).
  • Our company takes no responsibility for parked vehicles.
